Rabbit Food: A bring-your-own-bag establishment since 2005

OCTOBER 18 . . .AUTUMN-COLORED FOOD is the order of the day. Decorate
your dinner plate from the Rabbit Food palette: organic adzuki beans,
organic, green lentils, papaya spears, organic canned whole
cranberries, canned Alaskan salmon, raw goat cheddar, organic apple
cider. . perhaps not all together, but certainly in combination with
other great whole foods in store.

FROM THE SOUL FOOD section. . . .Honoring those requests to satisfy
the sweet tooth, I’ve ordered yogurt pretzels and ginger chews; in the
yogurts, it’s the creamy Liberte lemon that’s on the truck. Doyle
asked for sparkling mineral water, and we’re getting San Pelegrino in
the liter size.

DID YOU TRY the Sansa apples that came in last week? They’re
delightfully crisp and sweet. I may try some NC-grown organic Rome
apples this week. Organic potatoes are coming down in price.
Albert’s has listed the first of their fresh organic cranberries for
the season. They’re currently almost $5 for 1/2lb box–do we wait for
the price to drop or get them while they’re available? Fresh
cranberries have a long shelf life. Organic red grapes have been good
for the past few weeks, so we’ll try some more this week. and as
usual, count on an array of organic green stuff for juicing and just
good eating!

ORDERS HAVE BEEN placed with Select Nutrition and NOW Foods.
Hopefully they’ll make it in this week.

THE SECOND G-F GET ACQUAINTED will be held on Tuesday, November 1, at
noon at Outback in Sevierville, which will be closed to the public at
